The Early Release Button (and When to Use It)

Occasionally, a customer will request that a document be released early. They may write something like, "I have to submit this in 5 hours but could only choose the 6 hour time!!" or "I need this back ASAP!" or "Could I get this back early if possible?!"

You have the power to accommodate such requests (if you can) by clicking the handy checkbox on the closing comments page:

Keep these things in mind when wielding your early release power:

  • Once a doc is released, you can't modify it from your history page, so make extra sure that all of your changes are saved.
  • We charge more for faster turnaround times, so the request should be reasonable. It's not reasonable to expect a 48-hour order in 6 hours, obviously. But maybe an author places a 12-hour order overnight and asks if it can be returned in 10, or someone wants a very short document back in under 3 hours. It's okay to release docs early in these situations -- just use your best judgment, and please don't release every doc early.
  • It's also important to note that users are not promised or guaranteed that they will receive their document faster than the selected turnaround time. Kibin only guarantees that the order will be completed and released by the deadline the user selected.
