Editor Activity Requirements

Kibin has a couple of modest activity requirements for your account to remain active, which means you retain access to the work queue, Editor Update, and Slack channel. These requirements aren’t intended to be strict or burdensome, and we respect your freedom to choose when and how often you work. The goal is to have a clear idea of how many truly active editors we have on our roster at a given time.

When you first join the team, you must edit 5 documents within the first 6 months of your editor onboarding date.
After you edit your first 5 documents, you must edit at least one document every 365 days to keep your Kibin editor account active. This is measured from the date you last submitted an edited document. The 365-day counter "resets" every time you submit an edit on the Kibin platform.
If you do not maintain an active status as a new or current editor, you will be removed from Kibin’s editor roster and will no longer have access to the Kibin queue. *womp womp*
We’ll send you an automated email nudge when your account reaches certain levels of inactivity, and a final reminder will be sent one month before your account closes.
In the event that your account has been closed due to inactivity, you may contact the Community Manager. They will then review your account history, assess Kibin’s current editing needs, and reactivate your account if they see fit.
