What to Do if a User Asks You to Email Them Directly
Occasionally, a user will ask you to email him or her directly, as in the following example:
"This essay is urgent!!
I write this email to admission office of Sloan to increase the possibility of being invited for interview. I want to sent it out at about 9 am EST. Therefore, if you finished, please sent it to w********@163.com immediately! Thanks!!!"
If you receive a request like this in a note from a user or a supplemental document, please do not email the user directly. If the user would like the document to be released earlier than the stated turnaround time, as in the example above, you can edit the document and use the early release feature.
Users will also occasionally ask you to email them if you have any questions about their document or the instructions they provided. If you do have questions, use the Messaging feature on the document modal, or get in touch with a CHC.
This not only ensures that the Kibin admin team has a complete picture of what has happened with a document from the time it's uploaded until it's released, but it also protects your privacy and prevents you, the editor, from having your time monopolized by users' questions, requests, and so forth.
