Editing and Payment History and How to Modify Submitted Documents

The History page (linked in your dropdown menu) records the details of all your submitted work as well as any adjustments to your Leaderboard points or cash balance.

  1. Date is the date of the submission/action.
  2. Document lists the document title (or the action performed). Clicking the document title opens the doc details modal where you can download the edited file.
  3. Status can either be “pending review” (the edit must be manually approved because your account is not “trusted”) or “accepted” (your submission was approved automatically or by an admin).
  4. Release In shows how long until the document is released to the author. As long as the clock has more than five minutes left, you will see a green “modify” button.
  5. Commission shows the payout (money and LB points) for a document.
  6. Balance shows your running Kibin account balance. This number resets to zero every time you cash out or when the system cashes you out on Wednesdays. Learn more about getting paid
  7. Edits that received user feedback will have a corresponding thumbs up or down icon.

Modifying Submitted Edits

Occasionally you might realize that you've uploaded the wrong file or that your last few edits didn’t save before uploading and clicking “Submit.” Never fear! If more than five minutes are left on the clock, you can still modify your comments and upload a new version of the file. Documents with less than five minutes on the clock (or those released early) cannot be modified.

Clicking the "modify" button takes you back to the upload and feedback form. Great news! All of your previous comments will still be saved. Simply make the changes you want, upload your revised document, and submit again.

**If you need to resubmit a document after the modification period or after release, please email the file and any additional information to team@kibin.com or use Slack to message the CHC or admin on duty.
